Informationen zum Autor Philip Alston is John Norton Pomeroy Professor of Law at New York University School of Law and is co-chair of the law school's Center for Human Rights and Global Justice. Professor Alston has held a range of senior UN appointments including United Nations Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions and UN Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights. Olivier De Schutter was the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food (2008–14) and is now a Member of the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. He teaches at the University of Louvain (UCL) and at SciencesPo (Paris). He has been a visiting Professor at Columbia University and at UC Berkeley.
