Informationen zum Autor Dr Urfan Khaliq is a Senior Lecturer in Law at Cardiff University, where he teaches at undergraduate and postgraduate level on a number of courses including Human Rights Law, Public International Law and EU Law. He has given numerous guest lectures and conference papers in the United Kingdom and in a number of other countries. He has practised in Pakistan as an Advocate specialising in defending street children in conflict with the law. He is currently also a member of the Research Associate's Panel at Matrix Chambers, Gray's Inn, London. He has acted as an adviser/consultant to various non-governmental organisations and foreign governments and has also been a regular analyst for the BBC World Service on issues concerning international law and human rights.
