T. E. Lawrence - The Selected Letters

Although T.E. Lawrence was one of the greatest letter writers of our century, at least two thirds of his letters collected here have never been published before. This selection contains his correspondence with Mrs. George Bernard Shaw.

About the author

T. E. LAWRENCE (1888-1935) was a British archaeologist, army officer, diplomat, and writer. Because of his talent for writing about his military exploits, he gained international recognition during various conflicts in the Middle East between 1915 and 1920. That fame and reputation for bravery was later immortalized in the 1962 film Lawrence of Arabia.
