Informationen zum Autor Norman Nicholson was born in Millom, Cumbria, in 1914 and lived there, with a single interruption, for the rest of his life. He was award the Queen's Gold Medal for Poetry in 1977, and the OBE in 1981. He died in 1987. His Collected Poems appeared in 1994.
