He has over 100 publications including authoring/editing 7 other books on industrial combustion. He has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in that state, a Board Certified Environmental Engineer, and a Qualified Environmental Professional.
