The Korean Presbyterian Church in America is a Korean-American Presbyterian denomination in the United States of America. KPCA is a denomination founded by ordained clergy of The Korean Presbyterian Church in Korea (Ko-Shin). Thus, KPCA denomination is commonly referred to in the United States as "Ko-Shin." Its sister denominations in the United States include Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC). It also has strong ties with the Christian Reformed Church (CRC) denomination. The Korean Presbyterian Church in America has several denominational seminaries in the United States, including ones in Anaheim, California, and Palisades Park, New Jersey. This book recounts 20 years of the Korean-American Presbyterian denomination's history from 1985-2006. The contributor to the book, Rev. Manwoo Abraham Kim, the Senior Pastor of The First Korean Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, has been a crucial member of the denomination in its founding and growth stages. Rev. Manwoo Abraham Kim is the First National Director of the Student For Christ (SFC) movement in Korea, which currently enjoys some 20,000 youth attendees at Christian youth conferences. Rev.
