The Use of Colour in Garden Design
In order to make use of the colours of flowers, leaves, fruits and barks in designing your garden, you first need to familiarise yourself with some basic principles of the effects of colours, both individually and in combination – because only if you know the effect that colours have on your surroundings can you decide whether your own garden should be a “riot of colour” or take on a more subtle tone.
