Informationen zum Autor S Balasubramanian is Director, GRG School of Management Studies, Coimbatore. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras and holds a PG Diploma in Management (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He is also a qualified administrator and interpreter of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). He has nearly 30 years of experience in both the private and public sectors in India and abroad. His wide experience spans functions such as production, planning, projects, industrial marketing, international trade, human resource management and general management. He has worked in some of the most reputed companies in India including Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) and EID Parry (India) Limited in senior executive positions. He was also Vice President of the Wärtsilä Corporation of Finland. Professor Balasubramanian has written several articles in leading business magazines on subjects like leadership and management education. His academic interests are in the fields of business leadership, understanding personality differences using the MBTI, team building, values and vision. Apart from being a prolific writer, he also teaches International Business to MBA students. He has designed, coordinated and conducted successful faculty development programmes on Business Leadership. He has also conducted successful training programmes on Leadership, Strategy, Envisioning and Team Building for a number of leading organisations including Himalaya Drug Company, Infosys, Cognizant Technologies, iGate Global Solutions, Oracle, Corporation Bank, Jindal Vijayanagar Steel and Metlife Insurance.
