Here women present themselves very sensually and with a desire for their own bodies. THey exhale a yearning to be loved. The search for closeness, for emotions, for an exchange of feelings is clearly visible. Sometimes a melancholic mode, a lonely gaze, a lost gesture. About the author

Thomas Karsten, geboren 1958 in Eisenach, lebt in Vierkirchen/München. Seit 1978 beschäftigt er sich mit Photographie und arbeitet seit 1983 als freischaffender Photograph für diverse Magazine (Eltern, Stern, Capital, Das Magazin, Art). Seine freien Arbeiten sind in allen namhaften Photozeitschriften erschienen. Viele Ausstellungen und Ausstellungsbeteiligungen in Galerien und Museen. Sein erstes Fotobuch erhielt den Kodak-Fotobuchpreis.
