About the author

Eric Kroll, geboren 1946 in New York, arbeitete zunächst als Galerist und freier Fotograf für den Spiegel, Vogue und Elle, bevor er sich ausschließlich der Bondage- und Erotik-Fotografie widmete. Mittlerweile zählen seine Fotos zu den Klassikern dieses Genres. Zu seinen erklärten Vorbildern zählen Man Ray, Weegee und Eric Stanton. Krolls Fotografien entführten den Betrachter in eine Welt bizarrer Phantasien und Wunschvorstellungen - aber mit dem für ihn typischen ironischen Blick.
