Zusammenfassung This study demonstrates the relevance of an integrational linguistic perspective to language learning. By shunning realist and structuralist theories, commitment to the perspective of the language user, and adherence to a semiology in which signs are the situated products of interactants' interpretive behavior, this method radically reconceptualizes language learning and teaching.
