Informationen zum Autor Patrick Marber was born in London. His first play, Dealer's Choice , premiered at the Royal National Theatre, London, in February 1995. It won the Evening Standard Award for Best Comedy and the Writers' Guild Award for Best West End Play. Closer premiered at the Royal National Theatre in May 1997. It won the Evening Standard Award for Best Comedy and the Critics' Circle Award and Laurence Olivier Award for Best Play. Closer premiered on Broadway in March 1999 where it won the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for Best Foreign Play. Howard Katz premiered at the Royal National Theatre, London, in September 2001. Patrick Marber has also written extensively for television and radio including After Miss Julie (BBC, 1995). Daniel Rosenthal was born in London in 1971. He has written on theatre and film for The Times, Independent and Observer, and his previous books include 100 Shakespeare Films (2007) and Student Editions of David Mamet's Oleanna and Patrick Marber's Closer. He has chaired 30 National Theatre Platforms and is Associate Producer of the recent BBC 4 Arena documentaries on the NT.
