Informationen zum Autor Patrick taught in rural schools for two years and in city systems for five years in Montana. Being drafted in 1952 interrupted teaching. After a year in Army electronic school and a year in the South Pacific at the nuclear testing grounds, he went back to public schools. He has a diploma from Northern Montana College and Bachelors degree from Eastern Montana College. Susan and Patrick married in 1958 and moved to Oregon in the summer of 1959. Summers at the University of Oregon resulted in a Master's degree and post graduate certification in many different Special Education and testing areas. In Eugene, Oregon, he taught in elementary classrooms for ten years, worked with Special Education students in basic skills for ten years and administered testing for certifying students for special help for another ten years. He retired in 1988 and has had a business restoring antique clocks and a hobby of putting together a family history.
