About the author
Frieda Hilda Blackwell completed her Bachelors of Art at Mars Hill College in Mars Hill, North Carolina. She received her Masters degree as well as her Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University. Professor Blackwell is currently the Associate Dean for Humanities for the College of Arts and Sciences as well as an Associate Professor of Spanish at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
She has also authored The Game of Literature: Demythification and Parody in the Novels of Gonzalo Torrente Ballester.
