Creative Healing is a book about using the gift of creativity to overcome adversity and struggle. It may be physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual. You can heal by being creative. This is a story of a woman who navigated through mental illness and addiction with her creative outlets and how she learned to redirect her mind.
It is about seeing life through a child's eyes, once again, with wonder and amazement. It is also about being authentically YOUnique, believing in yourself, having variety in your life, using your imagination, making your dreams come true, being grateful, and having a spiritual connection with God.
There are many ways to perceive this book. It was written in the hopes that you will find healing by tapping into your creative side. Everyone is creative in their own ways. It does not have to be art, writing, or music. It could be cooking a delicious meal a new way, fixing a car, a science experiment, or any other subject YOU like to do. It is all a matter of preference. There are some exercises. They may seem silly, but the creative side of us is an inner child. Let the child play!
