About the author


Isam Alobid is a Rhinologist and the coordinator of the Skull Base Unit within the ENT department at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona. Additionally, he serves as a Professor at the Medical School, University of Barcelona, Spain, and holds the position of Vice President of the Spanish Society of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (SEORL). He has published over 311 scientific articles indexed on PubMed, 11,176 citations
,
with an H-index of 51. Dr. Alobid is a volume editor for nine books and has contributed chapters to 55 other publications. He has organized 110 courses and workshops and presented his research at 155 national and international conferences.
