About the author










Jasmine Florentine is an author-illustrator, STEM content creator, and mechanical engineer who is passionate about combining technology, art, and storytelling to engage kids with science and engineering in creative ways. After receiving her master’s in mechanical engineering from MIT, she worked for FIRST, a nonprofit that runs robotics competitions to inspire students to pursue STEM. The author of Hex Allen and the Clanksmiths, she’s lived in five different countries but currently resides in California with her family.
