This work of labor law is intended to be of much more pedagogical interest to our pupils and students in technical vocational training and education, as well as to their trainers, teachers and anyone else interested in the subject for various reasons. We have drawn heavily on the Chad Labour Code promulgated on December 11, 1996, as well as on general collective agreements and other texts relating to current labour legislation. Labour law, a special law designed for the private employment sector, seeks to reconcile the often conflicting interests of employers and employees. It is important that the rules of this law are well learned and understood by our learners, who aspire to the job market in the long term, on the one hand, and employers, who are often subject to violation of said rules, on the other, in order to create a serene and peaceful social climate in the world of work. We hope, on this occasion, to make a modest contribution to the popularization of the legal rules of this transversal Social Law for both the academic community and the private employment sector. "The World is no longer to be discovered, it is already inhabited".
