Estella Tincknell is Visiting Fellow and former Associate Professor in Film and Culture at the University of the West of England, UK. She is the author of Mediating the Family: Gender, Culture and Representation (2005) and Jane Campion and Adaptation (2013), and co-editor of Ageing Femininities, Troubling Representations (2012). She has published widely in the fields of media and film studies and is a former co-editor of The Soundtrack.
