About the author

Carlos Vaz de Carvalho
holds a PhD (2001) in Technologies and Information Systems from the School of Engineering of the University of Minho. He is currently Professor Coordenador at the Computer Eng. Dep. of the Engineering School of the Porto Polytechnic (ISEP) and Director of Virtual Campus Lda, an SME dedicated to Technology Enhanced Learning and Serious Games. He authored over 250 publications and communications, including more than ten books (as author and editor), related to the Creative Sector.
