Principles of Fintech is designed to prepare upper-level undergraduate and postgraduate business and financial management students to innovate with the latest financial technology. About the author










Alex Zarifis is Lecturer in Information Systems at the University of Southampton, UK. Previously, he worked at the University of Cambridge, University of Manchester and the University of Mannheim. He is currently a research affiliate of the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF). He is also a pioneer in Fintech education and participated in creating the first government-recognized university degree on blockchain technologies in 2014 at the University of Nicosia in Cyprus.
