"Stunning: so clever, so gripping, so timely." -- Lucy Foley Five men, five stories: unravel the mystery behind Katherine Cole, a woman on trial for murder, in this whip-smart and suspenseful thriller told through shifting perspectives. When four wealthy and influential members are poisoned at London''s most exclusive private club, a young waitress is arrested, and her personal life is picked apart. After the murder accusation, five men begin to question how well they really knew her. To each of them--her father, a reporter, her former lover, her friend, and her lawyer--she is something entirely different. But which is the true face of Katherine Cole? And is she a killer? The truth lies somewhere between these five male perspectives. What follows is a chilling kaleidoscope of a thriller, both a smart courtroom drama and a frightening examination of how one woman can be so ruthlessly deconstructed by the men who know her best--and just what happens when she decides to speak out at last? UNRAVEL THE MYSTERY THAT''S GOT TOP AUTHORS TALKING "So original, thrilling and utterly addictive." -- Alice Feeney "Unique, punchy and super-smart." -- Abigail Dean "Beautifully written, experimental, and fast-paced." -- Gillian McAllister
