About the author

For Christine von der Pahlen, travel is life itself. She shared her passion for many years in the travel section of the women’s magazine Madame and on her personal blog. She began her career as a fashion editor, travelling the world for photo shoots. Before long, she was also writing travel stories – and she has never stopped since.Photographer Mayk Wendt works internationally as an independent artist. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the world. At Callwey, he has already published Be a guest in Venice and Be a guest at the Oktoberfest.
