About the author

Prof. Dr. Tobias Just
is the Managing and Academic Director at the IRE|BS Immobilienakademie and holds a professorship in Real Estate at the University of Regensburg, Germany. His academic journey includes studies in Economics at the University of Hamburg, Germany, and at Uppsala University in Sweden. His doctoral thesis was honoured with the university science prize in 2001. Prof. Just has contributed extensively to his field, with over 250 publications in scholarly and professional journals and books, including 17 authored books covering various topics in real estate and economics. He has served as President of the German Society of Property Researchers (GIF) and as an editor for ZIÖ, the German Journal of Real Estate Research. In 2017, Prof. Just was named a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Prof. Dr. Harun Tanrıvermiş
is the Head of the Department of Real Estate Development and Management, Ankara University. He serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science at Ankara University, Türkiye. He previously served as the Construction Works and Real Estate Development Coordinator at Ankara University from 2012 to 2020 and is currently serving as Vice Rector of the university. He represents the Department of Real Estate Development and Management at Ankara University in various international institutions. Additionally, he was a board member of the Appraisers Association of Türkiye from 2014 to 2019, and continues to serve in this role into 2023. In 2019, Prof. Harun was inducted as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and was appointed as a Professor of Land and Real Estate Economics, Valuation, and Land, Facility and Property Management since 1997.

Prof. Dr. Yeşim Tanrıvermiş 
is a Professor at the Department of Real Estate Development and Management, Faculty of Applied Sciences at Ankara University, Türkiye. She has held positions as a Faculty Board Member, undergraduate and graduate student advisor, member of the student support commission, and relations coordinator with public and private institutions since 2016. Additionally, she served as a board member of the Appraisers Association of Türkiye from 2019 to 2023. In 2020, Prof. Yeşim was inducted as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and was promoted to the rank of Professor of Land and Real Estate Economics, Valuation, Land Management and Administration, Natural and Cultural Heritages Conservation Policies and Practices since 2016.
