About the author










Robert A. Domingo, Ph.D., has extensive experience working with diverse populations, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, and neurogenic speech-language disorders. As current professor, past chair of LIU Post's Communication Sciences and Disorders department and former president of LISHA, he now focuses on using improvisation and performance arts to enhance social pragmatic communication skills. Dr. Domingo uniquely combines his expertise in speech-language pathology with his passion for singing, acting, and directing to help individuals develop verbal and non-verbal communication for meaningful connections. He is also a member of the Hardscrabble Theatre Comedy Improv Troupe in Farmingdale, NY.
