This book is one of three volumes that provide a systematic overview of public administration, public management and public governance in Italy. This third volume examines key philosophical themes pertaining to core foundational issues of public administration in Italy, including the link to the liberal-democratic constitution, the rationale for the legitimacy of administration action, epistemologies and methods.
