About the author

Dr. Bhupender Singh is an esteemed scientist and researcher with a wealth of experience in the synthesis of nanomaterials and advanced material characterization techniques. He currently holds the position of Principal Technical Officer at the Central Research Facility, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. Dr Singh has been offered the position  of Additional Director (Scientific) in Delhi Pollution Control Committee. He is also involved in innovative challenges for the abatement of Air Pollution in Delhi. With a deep expertise in the synthesis of nanomaterials and proficiency in advanced analytical, microscopic, and materials characterization techniques, Dr. Singh has made significant contributions to the fields of nanoscience and materials engineering.

Dr. Swatantra Kumar Dubey is a hydrologist and agricultural water resources researcher specializing in the integration of hydrological, crop, and economic models with geospatial analysis to address climate change impacts. He holds a Ph.D. from the Central University of Rajasthan, India, where his research focused on water and food security in the Banas River Basin using CORDEX-SA climate data, hydrological modeling, and remote sensing. With research experience at IISER Bhopal, Sikkim University, and Seoul National University of Science and Technology, he has developed socio-hydrological frameworks and spatial analyses for sustainable water resource management. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor at TIIAME National Research University, Uzbekistan, where he focuses on hydro-economic modeling and climate adaptation strategies in agriculture. His expertise includes SWAT, AquaCrop, MODFLOW, DSSAT, and GIS tools (ArcGIS, ENVI, ERDAS Imagine, Google Earth Engine), as well as Python programming for big data analysis. His work has been published in journals such as Science of the Total Environment, Ecological Engineering, and Environmental Processes.

Dr. Anirban Nath is an accomplished agricultural scientist with expertise in genetics, plant breeding, and seed system development. Currently serving as Associate Scientist at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), he has led initiatives across India and Nepal to strengthen community-based seed entrepreneurship. With over a decade of research experience in rice breeding, biofortification, and stress-tolerant varieties, he has significantly contributed to food security and sustainable agriculture. His career reflects a strong commitment to innovation, capacity building, and rural development.

Dr. Pankaj K. Gupta is a Ramanujan fellow, upholding one of the honored scientific positions at the Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.) Delhi, India. As a Ramanujan fellow, he has undertaken an exceptional project “Engineered Microbiome (E-Microbiome)”, a unique combination of microbiology, hydrogeology, and chemical sciences for restoration of polluted sites, funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Govt. of India. He is also an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Waterloo.
