Will be released 02.04.2026
Description
Advancements through Sustainable Green Nanocomposites investigates how nanotechnology plays a role in tackling global sustainability challenges. Moreover, the ongoing aim, is to link innovative findings of nanomaterials with promising sustainable applications in different industries. In this context, the authors focus on providing applications of sustainable and biogenic synthetical methods, sustainable practices, etc., to develop novel nanocomposites that are functional but limit consequences to environment. The authors use interdisciplinary perspectives leading towards understanding how sustainable nanocomposites can accelerate transportation of such applications into, environmental remediation, agriculture, construction, health care and more.
The scope of this book encompasses the assessment of the synthesis, classification, and applications of sustainable nanocomposites, with emphasis on environmental, economic, and social benefits and impacts. What establishes this book as unique is its approach to combine extensive disclosures on science to applications with laudable focus on biodegradable materials, as well as recyclable materials, while sensibly appreciating regulatory frameworks and environmental impacts. Accordingly, this book can benefit researchers, professionals within the industry, and various levels of policymakers interested in the situational applications of nanotechnology for sustainable development.
Key Features:
· Comprehensive Coverage of Green Synthesis: Explores both plant extract based and microbial synthesis methods to produce environmentally-friendly nanocomposites.
· Sustainable/ Green Applications: Identify nanocomposites applications in environmental remediation (including, water, air, and soil), corrosion inhibition, and agriculture, construction, textiles and pharmaceuticals
· Material Classifications: Includes in-depth discussions on carbon-based, polymer-based, ceramic-based, metal-based, and hybrid nanocomposites.
· Sustainability Focus: Discusses environmental impact, life-cycle assessments, biodegradability, and circular economy principles.
