Stochastic Control in Energy, Environmental and Resource Management Applications presents a comprehensive exploration of stochastic control and offers practical insights and solutions to contemporary challenges in resource, environment, and energy management. From sustainable fishery practices to water quality assessment and renewable energy generation, it addresses urgent global issues. Additionally, it delves into the mathematical and computational aspects of stochastic control, aligning with modern concepts like
Sustainable Development Goals and
Green Transformation. This book bridges the gap between experimentalists, who face practical issues without strong theoretical foundations, and theoreticians, who often propose idealised solutions. It does so by using stochastic modeling and control theory to foster a more sustainable balance between the environment and humanity.
