English · Hardback
Will be released 12.12.2025
Description
Pharmacology Pro is a highly structured and exam-focused resource designed specifically for anaesthesiologists preparing for their membership examinations. This book is unique as it contains targeted content, addressing the most critical pharmacological principles in anaesthesia practice with an emphasis on real-world application. The structured format includes detailed explanations, key drug mechanisms, and case studies, allowing readers to bridge the gap between theory and clinical practice.
This textbook fills a significant gap in the field by providing anaesthesiology trainees with a resource that not only reviews pharmacology but also aligns closely with the topics covered in anaesthesiology exams, such as pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, clinical application and drug safety. It is intended for anaesthesiologists at various stages of training, from those entering their first exam preparation phase to senior trainees looking to refine their knowledge before fellowship exams.
The aim of creating this book is to deliver a concise yet comprehensive pharmacology guide that is both accessible and practically useful. One of the key objectives is to simplify complex concepts into digestible content, using visual aids to reinforce learning. Additionally, the book is designed to enhance retention through practice questions, mock scenarios, and summaries of key drugs used in anaesthetic practice. By focusing on the direct needs of anaesthesia trainees, "Pharmacology Pro" aims to equip readers with both the knowledge and confidence to excel in their exams and clinical practice.
