About the author

Adam Lockyer is an associate professor of strategic studies at Macquarie University and a nonresident fellow at Australia's Sea Power Centre. He is the author of Foreign Intervention, Warfare and Civil Wars: External Assistance and Belligerents' Choice of Strategy.
