About the author
Manuela Gussoni is an economist and Innovation, Business, and Sustainable Strategy Manager at the Bureau of Veritas Nexta (Rome, Italy), where she drives strategic initiatives at the intersection of innovation and sustainable development. Her research activities were conducted at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies between 2009 and 2011.
From 2011 to 2018, she served as Head of the Research Office at Internazionale Marmi e Macchine Carrara S.p.A. (Italy) and coordinated the Technological District of Marble and Dimension Stones for the Tuscany Region. In this role, she led initiatives focused on market research, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and innovation within the regional stone sector.
Between July 2018 and January 2024, she worked at RINA Consulting S.p.A. as Market and Business Strategy Manager, where she led a team of 16 professionals. Her responsibilities included strategic roadmapping, market analysis, sustainability assessment, business planning, feasibility studies, financial modeling, and cost-benefit analysis for the industrial sector.
Today she is the Innovation, Business and Sustainability Strategy Manager at Bureau Veritas Nexta.
