About the author
Isabel Novo-Corti is Professor of Economics at the University of A Coruña (UDC), Spain. She is a member of the inter-university research group ECOBAS and the director of the University Institute of Maritime Studies, the coordinator of the Research Group on Economic Development and Social Sustainability (EDaSS) at the UDC and a collaborating member of the SET-LASE research group on socio-economics of labour at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). She has been director of the Department of Economic Analysis and Business Administration, among other management positions. Her research is framed in socio-economics, technology and sustainability, in particular, labour market, poverty, inequality, social exclusion, ICT and gender.
Xose Picatoste is Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of A Coruña (UDC), Spain. He is a member of the inter-university research groupa ECOBAS and also the Research Group on Economic Development and Social Sustainability (EDaSS) and collaborating as member of the SET-LASE research group on socio-economics of labour at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). He was a recognised student at Oxford University and nowadays he is a member of Oxford Alumni. He got his Ph.D at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. His research is framed in socio-economics and sustainability, in particular, labour market, poverty, social exclusion and ICT. Picatoste has published widely in prestigious journals, received awards for his research, and presented at numerous international conferences, while also serving as a guest editor for academic journals.
Marco Valeri is Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior, Faculty of Economics, Niccolò Cusano University, Italy. He is Lecture in Applied Organizational Behaviour, Xenophon College, UK. He is Visiting Professor at University of Information Science and Technology (UIST) "St. Paul The Apostle", Macedonia. He is Adjunct Professor at Faculty of Social Sciences and Leisure Management, School of Hospitality, Tourism and Events, Taylor's University, Malaysia. He is Adjunct Professor at Faculty of Economics, Lovely Professional University (LPU), Phagwara, India. He is Associate Researcher in Strategy, Magellan Research Center, School of Management, Iaelyon Business School, Jean Monet University, France. He is Honorary Associate Professor, University of Pannonia, Hungary. He's teaching and consultancy fields include strategic management, leadership development, cross-cultural management, international hospitality management. He is member of several Editorial Boards of international tourism journals, reviewer and editor of several handbooks on entrepreneurship, tourism and hospitality management.
