About the author

Dr. Rashmi Sarkar is working as the director professor in the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at Lady Hardinge Medical College and Associated SSK and KSC Hospitals, New Delhi, India, affiliated with Delhi University. Previously, Dr. Sarkar has also worked as a professor at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and assistant  professor,Government Medical College, Chandigarh, India, and served as an examiner for MD, Diploma, and PhD in Dermatology and DNB. With an H Index of 45 and a research gate score 39.0, Dr. Sarkar has published over 260  papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals, over 120 chapters in various books, and edited 24  books. She is a global leader in pigmentary disorders.
Dr. Vignesh Narayan R has completed his fellowship in Dermatologic Surgery at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore, India. His areas of interest include pigmentary disorders and dermatologic surgery. He has published many papers in peer-reviewed national and international journals. Dr. Narayan had served as the editor-in-chief of the Residream Magazine of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists (IADVL) National residents committee and the IADVL YUVA Cell.
