About the author

JiuwenSun is a professor and doctoral tutor of the School of Applied Economics, Renmin University of China. He is also the president of the National Economic and Geographical Research Association, the vice president of the China Regional Economic Association, the vice president of the China Regional Science Association, and member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the Leading Group for Poverty Alleviation and Development of the State Council. His research interests include regional economic theory, urban economic theory, and poverty alleviation and development.
