Description

Using an-ecdotal personal narratives and observations, this book proposes a general theory of harmage common to all its manifestations and presents educational strategies for building hope through fostering empathy and inclusion.
The generic term harmage designates the process of causing physical or psychological harm, damage, or suffering to individuals or groups. Kaposi s theory of harmage is based on her experiences as a survivor, engineer, and educator, while Ballis s educational theory and methods draw on question-generating didactics and Socratic dialogue. Pyle s critical commentary adds ethical depth and intellectual rigour.
