Some loves change you. Others cost you everything.

Kendra Foster-Briggs has always been too much-too bold, too brash, too unwilling to play by anyone's rules. But when her rising sensie empire crashes under mob debts and backroom deals, she's given a choice: disappear, or serve. OutLook, the covert agency pulling the strings, wants her skills. Her body. Her loyalty.

Then Rose Emmons walks into training-brilliant, stubborn, and impossible to ignore. What begins as heat turns to something far deeper as Kendra and Rose navigate a brutal world of espionage, manipulation, and impossible missions. Together, they build a future on fragile ground-until a betrayal shatters everything.

This is the story the Federation erased: of the woman Kendra loved before Aiyana. Of the war she fought before the Artemis War. And of the impossible truth behind her greatest loss.

Shades of Rose is a raw, heart-wrenching love story told in Kendra's own words-explicit, unsparing, and defiant. A fusion of queer romance, dystopian noir, and emotional suspense, this duology spans sex and violence, courage and collapse, and the cost of love in a world that commodifies everything.

It's not a romance.
It's a love story.
And there's a difference.
