The Routledge Handbook of Heritage Ethics offers a comprehensive and rigorous analysis of the main concepts that shape and inform heritage ethics, whilst also giving consideration to the ways they are applied in practice.
Bringing together various lines of interdisciplinary inquiry, the volume provides a systematic approach to the topic that broadens the scope of heritage ethics beyond restitution and ownership of the past. Tracy Ireland is Emeritus Professor of Cultural Heritage at the University of Canberra, Australia.
Andreas Pantazatos is Associate Professor in Heritage Studies and Co-Director of the MPhil in Heritage Studies at the Department of Archaeology at the University of Cambridge.
John Schofield teaches cultural heritage management and contemporary archaeology in the Archaeology Department, University of York (UK).
Jinghong Zhang is currently an Associate Professor at the Centre for Social Sciences, Southern University of Science and Technology, in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China.
