About the author

Steven M. Goodman is a field biologist at the Field Museum, Chicago and a coordinator of the ecology training program at the World Wildlife Federation-Madagascar. He is coeditor of "Natural Changes and Human Impact in "Madagasca"r. Jonathan P. Benstead is assistant professor at the University of Alabama.
