About the author










Arshad Farid, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Gomal Center of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Gomal University, D.I.Khan, Pakistan. He has around seventeen years of teaching and research experience. He has supervised thirteen M.Phil. research students and are mentoring several Ph.D. candidates. He has more than 100+ publications of International and National repute. The total cumulative Impact Factor of his published papers is more than 500+. His scientific activities are highly interdisciplinary, ranging from Medicinal Plants; Natural Product Chemistry; Herbal Drug Development; Ethnopharmacology to Nanotechnology, Drug delivery and Microbiology. He has served as editor for 7 books. He has also written more than 50 book chapters in Elsevier, Springer, Apple Academic Press and Wiley Publishers etc. He holds a notable count of 27 international patents (Germany, UK,South African etc.). Moreover, he has published more than 15 abstracts in national and international conference proceedings. He's contributed significantly to the scientific community by peer reviewing papers for more than 25 esteemed journals of MDPI, Elsevier, Springer, Dove press and Wiley etc. Dr. Arshad Farid received the Best Researcher Award in 2022 from Gomal University, D.I. Khan, Pakistan, in recognition of his outstanding research contributions. He was a fellow of the British Council-Charles Wallace Fellowship program at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, UK, in 2023. Previously, he received a fellowship for "Training in the Environmental, Agricultural, and Analytical Chemistry Laboratory Techniques" from the Department of Chemistry, University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK, in 2007. He is also a Research Fellow of INTI International University, Malaysia (2023-2025).
Ab Waheed Wani, Ph.D, Horticulture, Fruit science from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-Kashmir). Currently working as Assistant Professor in Lovely Professional University, Pagwada Punjab in Department of Horticulture. As supervisor, 2 PhD scholars submitted their thesis under my guidance and 10 M.sc students completed their degree under my guidance. He has done Bachelors in Horticulture during 2014 with Gold Medal (87.2%), master's in Fruit Science with Gold Medal (89.0 %) and Doctoral degree with 86.54%. He was INSPIRE fellow during Ph.D. programme and as JRF awardee. He is expert in the area of population genetics, genomics and metabolomics particularly in walnut, almond, apple etc and also in saffronfor DUS guidelines. He acquired good skill and hands on expertise in fruits science propogation, molecular biology techniques viz. characterization genomic DNA, SSR analysis, HPLC and GCMS analysis. He is highly motivated person, with aptitude for both teaching and research. One of the plus points in me is the inherent leadership quality. He has published research articles/review paper in National and international journals/ conferences and book chapters. He has published research as well as review papers in high IF Q1 Journals like Scientia Horticulture, Chemosphere, Frontier in Plant Science etc. He is editor in book Temperate Nut crops in Taylor and Francis,2024. He has published more than seven patents and copyrights. He has received awards in international conferences like young scientist, best poster, best oral and best thesis awards. Iundergone couple of advanced conferences and training programs in the area of fruit science, molecular biology and artificial intelligence. He is working on different projects related production technology and breeding of fruit crops.
S M Firdous working as a Professor and HOD of Department of Pharmacology, Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology & AHS, West Bengal, India. He has more than 17 years of teaching experience and 15 years of research experience. His research domains are as follow;(a) Neurobehavioural and cardiac physiology study of small animals (rodents and zebrafish (b) Metabolic disorder - Diabetic complications;(c) Marine Pharmacology and (d) Toxicological evaluation of natural products. He has guided 36 PG students and number of UG students till now. Two students are pursuing PhD under his guidance. He has published more than 60 research and review articles in various reputed International and National journals (Q1, Q2, and Q3) with Scopus and WOS indexing. His total citation is more than 650 and h-index is 16. Beside, he has published many book chapters and edited one book as an Editor-in-Chief. In addition to this a South Africa Patent and a German patent is granted in his account. Further, he is a recognized PhD Supervisor of University of Buea, Buea, Cameroon and University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
Mukul Machhindra Barwant is currently the Dean of Research and Innovation and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at Sanjivani Rural Education Society's Sanjivani Arts, Commerce, and Science College in Kopargaon, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India. He has over seven years of teaching and research experience in various fields of botany. He has published 45 research articles in national and international journals, including Springer, Elsevier, CRC Press, Taylor & Francis, and UGC Care List Journals. He has also presented his work at numerous conferences. In addition to his research publications, He has contributed 20 book chapters to national and international publishers such as CRC Press, Springer, and IGI Global, and has edited 30 books. He holds over 20 patents granted in India, the UK, and Germany. His expertise is recognized through his role as a reviewer for more than 44 journal articles and his service on the editorial boards of 24 journals. He has been honored with several awards, including the best presenter award, best young speaker award, young researcher award, dr. sarvepalli radhakrishnan best teacher award, best young scholar, best book chapter award, best researcher award, young professional award, best research scholar award, young eminent researcher award, young phycologist award, and young scientist award.
