As periodontology moves beyond conventional therapies, stem cell-based interventions are emerging as a revolutionary approach for tissue engineering and periodontal regeneration. This book provides a comprehensive overview of stem cell biology, types of dental stem cells, their sources, mechanisms of action, and potential applications in clinical periodontics. It also discusses current research evidence, limitations, and the future potential of cell-based therapies in restoring lost periodontal structures.Designed for postgraduate students, dental researchers, clinicians, and academicians, the book bridges the gap between benchside research and chairside application.
