Description

This book focuses on natural gas, renewable Methan and E-Fuels as contemporary and future energy sources.Following a historical overview, physical and chemical properties, occurance, extraction, transportation and storage of natural gas and renewable methan are discussed. The actual situation of eletrical produced fuels (E-Fuels) is presented by a FVV-Report (German Research Association for Combustion Engines).A substantial part of the book addresses the design of engine and vehicals for natural and synthetic methan as well as large combustion engines for industrial and maritime use.The improvements of a Dual Fuel Combustion are shown in an own chapter. The mixture of natural gas and hydrogen are discussed too.
