This edited volume explores green development and financing in a post-pandemic globalized Africa. It offers a theoretical and empirical investigation of green development and finance and analyzes their implications for critical issues in governance, domestic resource mobilization and resource exploration, climate change, the green economy, the influence of foreign aid and foreign direct investment, and the financing of SMEs and related industrial initiatives. This interdisciplinary book is structured around four primary themes: contemporary African development policy and global partnership initiatives; technology and domestic resource mobilization; green economy, agricultural, industrial and service dimensions; and the future trajectory of green development, drawing on proven cases and illustrations from both the Global North and South regarding green development and finance.
