This book covers standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation, Mudras and bandhas and various protocols by competent authority. About the author

Dr. Akshay Anand is working as a Professor (Research) in the Department of Neurology and Professor in Charge of CCRYN Collaborative Centre for Mind Body Interventions through Yoga at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. Dr. Anand is interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration utilizing invitro, invivo, alternative, and biotherapeutic approaches. His other research interests range from analyzing the role of genetic and other risk factors that modify ALS and AMD to screening novel drugs and Yoga modules for memory enhancement and wellness. He has been involved in the discovery of an animal model of AMD, published in Nature Medicine. Dr. Anand was nominated for the prestigious Padma Award 2020 by Chandigarh administration and also honored by Chandigarh Police for exemplary work in advancing Yoga research and Yog Rattan award by Governor of Panjab. He serves as Advisory Board member to Centre for Consciousness, Harvard Medical School, Boston and a distinguished visiting Professor to SVYASA, Bengaluru.
