With experience spanning multiple industries as both an in-house executive and external advisor, Kathy brings unique insight into successful career transitions across all sectors-from billion-dollar corporations to entrepreneurial start-ups.As managing director of BoardWalk Consulting, she has helped hundreds find meaningful leadership roles at iconic organizations like the CDC Foundation, The Carter Center, and Common Cause. Her own career journey began in Tokyo, where she was an editor for Canon and Newsweek. She advanced to senior roles at New York advertising agencies, helping propel Folgers to #1 coffee in America. Kathy led 40% growth in fundraising at CARE and steered Porter Novelli Atlanta to ten-fold expansion before finding her calling in executive search.Kathy is a Harvard graduate and has led or served on over a dozen boards, including Global Impact and Leadership Atlanta. She lives in Atlanta with her husband Alan. They have two grown sons.
