About the author
Muriel West and her ancestors have lived in rural Nova Scotia for many generations. Like her grandmother, and her father, Muriel has always loved to share a good story - often about very ordinary things. With a passion for four-legged creatures, she takes delight in giving animals a further whimsical dimension. By imagining their perspective and creating voices for these animals, Muriel presents her many furry friends as unique and lovable characters.
After a substantive period as a mom-at-home, Muriel expanded her sphere to toil for Canada Post in her village for a time. Later, she proudly served Kingston Village as a Commissioner. To those who know her well, Muriel is known to entertain all ages with creative and catchy made-up songs, in addition to writing and telling silly animated tales. Muriel also enjoys the challenge of painting, gardening, and home decorating. Time spent with the eight grandchildren is cherished, as is occasionally lunching with her many good friends. Mostly, Muriel thrives on quality time spent with her husband, Karl, travelling abroad, and lounging poolside in their glorious backyard.
