About the author

Janeth Gabaldon is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, where she teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in supply chain management. She also serves as the Director of Sponsored Research for the college's Supply Chain Management Research Center (SCMRC), the industry-facing hub housed within the J.B. Hunt Transport Department of Supply Chain Management. Her research in supply chain management and logistics has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals and has earned her multiple research grants. She lives and works in Fayetteville, Arkansas, home to one of the Unites States' top-ranked supply chain programs.
