This book explains how to combine Lean (including Hoshin Kanri) with Digital solutions to maximize sustainable performance that complies with people's and planet's performance expectations and needs. Organisations have always strived to perform the best and be the most sustainable. In this respect, Lean systems and other proven recipes still make sense, and are still far from having delivered their full potential in most companies. Meanwhile, digital solutions have become increasingly available in recent years. These are designed to maximise the full potential of data use and provide solutions to define or optimise products, services, and processes.
Combining Operational and Digital Excellence aligned with social and environmental expectations is key for organisations that aim to maximise their efficiency and performance over the long term.
In this book, the author, who faced this challenge and has a recognized expertise and experience on all topics, highlights how to assess and make it happen, the pitfalls to avoid, and the conditions of success. She uses her experience and includes the testimonials of other talented CEOs, senior executive leaders, experts, and the latest scientific references and case studies. Concrete solutions, tips, and advice are proposed throughout the book.
