Domenico D’Amario is an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Università del Piemonte Orientale and Head of the Intensive Care Unit at AOU Maggiore della Carità in Novara, Italy. His areas of expertise encompass advanced heart failure management, interventional cardiology, and translational cardiovascular research. With a strong background in clinical and academic medicine, Prof D’Amario has contributed extensively to the understanding of coronary artery disease, heart failure, and innovative cardiovascular treatments. His research interests include the development of novel medical devices and digital tools to improve cardiovascular care. He has served as a principal investigator in European-funded research projects focused on digital health, interoperability, and real-world data applications in cardiology. Prof D’Amario is a member of the Editorial Board of several international journals and serves as Associate Editor for the European Heart Journal. He is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and Fellow of the Heart Failure Association of the European Society of Cardiology (FHFA).
