Description

This book provides a comprehensive exposition to applications of AI in areas such as psychology, engineering, bioscience, pharmacology, and sociology which deal with various aspects of human behavior and development. It also delves into the areas of ethical and legal issues related to AI as applied to different subject areas. In each of these areas, AI has been very effectively used and has benefitted human beings, for instance, in health care. However, challenges in application of AI to different disciplines lie in the multidisciplinary approach which requires AI to include many related disciplines almost equally to a problem and find an effective and appropriate solution that can be replicated and predictable too. The merging of the different fields having different terminologies, methods and procedures as well as legal issues, poses difficulties in applying AI to integrating the essence of the different disciplines toward solution of a problem. Furthermore, a thorough knowledge of the concerned fields in addition to the AI renders this task highly challenging.
